<DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>Land Use Plan as of August 16, 2022. The City of Ontario plans and regulates land uses using a two-map system. In the Policy Plan, a set of broad Land Use Categories provide long-term guidance and direction for the overall distribution, intensity, and compatibility of development within the city. The Policy Plan is implemented by the City’s Development Code, which include Zoning Districts that establish detailed regulations for the the development of each property within the City including, intensities, requirements, and standards. The Zoning District applied to each property must be consistent with the Policy Plan Land Use Category assigned to the property. Policy Plan Land Use Categories are also subject to, must be consistent with, and are limited by the policies in every element of the City's Policy Plan.</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV> |
